Since its foundations in 2001, H.J. Hides and Skins Australia has built an enviable reputation for professionalism, quality control and accountability through its commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

Its head quarter and first plant were set in Laverton North, Melbourne, Victoria, and expanding production in 2011 with a brand-new plant located in Carole Park, Brisbane, Queensland, close to raw materials and transportation. Both plants feature modern and advanced equipment and technologies for the processing of quality drum salted cattle hides from the rich agricultural areas of Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales to its valued international customers.

H.J. Hides and Skins Australia is a member of the Australian Hide, Skin & Leather Exporters Association Ltd (AHSLEA) which comprises the major exporters of Australian cattle hides and calf skins, as well as other skins, accounting for 90 per cent of the Australian hide/skin production and about 85 per cent of the exports.
